About

Zhora Barseghyan’s paintings are defined by bold colour choices and expressive, free-flowing brushstrokes. In his work, colour takes dominates over form, while composition is guided by raw emotion and energy.

From an art-critical perspective, his paintings stand out for their daring colour contrasts and simplified forms, creating a powerful visual rhythm. In his graphic work, Barseghyan employs a structured approach, balancing line, form and space to achieve clarity and cohesion.

With over 4,000 paintings, including landscapes, still lifes and 800 portraits, Barseghyan has exhibited in Armenia and internationally. He founded the Teenage Brush Masters painting studio in mentoring new generations of Armenian artists.
