About
Mariam Stepanyan is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges graphic design, fine art and fashion. As the founder of the fashion brand Marselin, she seamlessly blends artistic expression with wearable design.
Using techniques such as etching, lino print and drypoint, she explores psychological depth and narrative complexity. In her graphic series The Divine Comedy: Hell, Stepanyan examines Dante’s secondary characters, using bold, dark lines to heighten the severity of their fates.
Stepanyan has exhibited internationally, including projects in Shanghai and beyond. Her exhibitions showcase her ongoing dialogue between technique, identity and transformation.
Beyond fine art, she has worked as a jewelry designer, graphic designer and brand consultant, specializing in visual identity, branding and packaging design.
