About
Anna Krtshatsyan bridges collage and classical oil painting, creating works that are both tactile and visually immersive. Her collage process is a living animation, constantly shifting before settling into its final form, while oil on canvas allows her to excavate deeper layers of meaning and texture.
A recurring theme in her work is Yerevan’s urban landscape, where historic architecture intertwines with botanical elements. Flowers weave through her compositions as symbols of memory and rebirth, forming a dialogue between past and present.
Krtshatsyan has exhibited in Armenia, the Netherlands, Germany and China, gaining recognition for her ability to merge tradition with contemporary experimentation.
