About
Albert Hakobyan’s art is a bold fusion of colour, form and symbolism, weaving memory, identity and the spiritual essence of Armenian heritage into richly textured canvases.
A graduate of Panos Terlemezian Arts College, his work transcends borders, with exhibitions spanning Moscow, Zurich, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Tehran and Vienna. His art bridges the tangible and the imagined, transforming vision into an immersive experience.
Hakobyan has held solo exhibitions at the Modern Art Museum of Armenia, Gevorgian Gallery and the National Center of Aesthetics. His work has been featured in major international exhibitions, including the Beirut Art Fair and Art Caucasus in Tbilisi.
In 2002, he received the Vahagn Award for Art and Culture in recognition of his impact on contemporary Armenian art. His works are part of the collections of the National Gallery of Armenia, the Modern Art Museum of Armenia and the Khrimyan Museum of Holy Echmiadzin.
