Misak Hartenyan’s paintings take abstraction further, using bold shapes and splashes of colour. He combines cityscapes, still lifes, and portraits in a graphic style that is uniquely his own. His works vary in size, scale, and texture, creating visual illusions across flat surfaces and among fragmented figures. 

Hartenyan has taken part in many group exhibitions, symposiums, and biennales in Armenia and internationally. He has received awards in over 25 international competitions, including in the United Kingdom, Spain, the United States, Ukraine, and Italy.
