About

Viktorya Shahbazyan’s art is an exploration of abstraction and sensory experience, where monotype and mixed media blend into fluid, ever-evolving compositions.

Her work transcends the purely visual – it invites touch, emotion and contemplation, using layers of colour, shape and texture to create images that feel both conceptual and visceral.

Shahbazyan has exhibited widely, including solo shows such as Why Are You Staring at Me?. Her work has been featured in group exhibitions at Dalan Gallery, Moscow House and the U.S. Embassy, as well as in major art events such as Spring Salon at the Artists’ Union of Armenia.

Beyond her studio practice, she is also a designer for Arvestanots magazine, extending her artistic vision into print and design.
