About

Anush Arakelyan merges tradition with a deeply personal vision, using earthy browns, golden yellows and cool blues to craft swirling, rhythmic compositions.

Her work moves like shifting shadows or rippling water, where colour and form engage in a dialogue of energy and emotion. For Arakelyan, painting is an open space, an invitation for viewers to lose themselves in interpretation.

She has exhibited internationally, with solo shows in Los Angeles, Vienna and Yerevan. Recent group exhibitions include La Bohème at the Artists’ Union of Armenia and Painted Commoner at the Henrik Igityan National Center for Aesthetics.

In 2022, she won 2nd place in the international competition Art for a New, Non-Violent Culture of Peace.
